Pros
Good hours, free coffee, pretty good benefits (health insurance is great), and great people to work with!
Cons
Philz has definitely lost it's touch when it comes to their core values. Management has favorites, and honestly, they pick and choose which minority employee they would want to succeed. There is no way to move up unless you completely give up your soul for the company and dedicate at least 3+ years to at least move up to store lead. Managers can be hit or miss, but some stores can have up to 3-4 managers a year depending on location. The pay starts at minimum wage and all electronic tips go to the pay check which does get taxed.
