Pros

There are a small handful of really talented, fun people to work with. Work/life balance is pretty good because no one is really given expectations or held accountable for anything, so with the unlimited PTO, you can pretty much fly under the radar and take off as much time as you want.

Cons

PhoneSoap is unfortunately another startup with poor, untrained leadership, no structure or organization, and no real goals or direction. It all stems from the CEO, who has no prior work experience, has terrible communication skills, doesn't accept input from others, and will never admit to being wrong. He loves to micromanage every single employee. The culture is toxic and standards are low for hiring. The majority of employees are unqualified, lazy, or extremely difficult to work with. There is no HR and they don't care about employee satisfaction or retention. Unfortunately between this and the poor sales in 2021, things will probably just continue to go downhill until the company shuts down.

Pros

Great people, great pay, I got to do work I was proud of, the product is the best on the market.

Cons

Much of the company was laid off due to unforeseen volatility in the market.

Pros

People that work here are all either trying to learn and grow or they have a lot of knowledge already in their field so there is a lot of learning and growth opportunities! Majority of workers are kind and welcoming. You are encouraged to speak up what you're needed to get the job done, so you can get support. Great Values.

Cons

Since it is a smaller company, the work/life balance can be hard to navigate since the teams are not super big. A lot can be asked of you but if you are forward with your boundaries on workload then they usually will be okay with it. Sometimes things are done a bit messy and so you may have to self teach a few things which can be stressful at first. Can feel a bit chaotic at times and even confusing in regards to what is being asked of you.
