Pros
I worked with Phonologies for 4.5 years in Hyderabad. I started my Software Engineer career with this company. It is a product based company: * Good compensation as a fresher * Company Culture is amazingly open & good. You are given every opportunity to grow. * Both the VP and the President/Director support in every way possible to give good environment for their employees to write better code. * You need to show initiative to look for the problems company is trying to solve. Then you can approach senior management on how you can contribute your skills to solve those. They will help you for sure. * Phonologies provides lot of learning opportunities when it comes to you as a software developer. Using different tools and unorthodox ideas to resolve issues, problems and bugs is given a welcome. Senior management never ever puts any obstacle in your search for better solutions and ideas. * Casual Dressing. As long as you dress clean and look proper, you can wear formals or casuals. * Hiring Procedure is pretty straightforward. Tech test and then tech interview.
Cons
Well, in 4.5 years, I can say with confidence that there were no cons. I joined as a Trainee and later was promoted to permanent employee and then later unexpected salary increments were there too. They will see your work, your approach to deadlines and your interactions with people. It is all up to your own vision as a Software Developer/Engineer. I enjoyed my time working there. I left only because I wanted to stay in Hyderabad when they shifted their development branch to Pune, to get closer to their corporate office in Mumbai.
