No Pros. You will be treated as slaves.

1. Till the time you are working on a project, they will entertain you. Because you are earning money for them. :) Once the project is over you are nothing for them. 2. To date they have a paper attendance system at the Dallas office to make sure what time the developer comes and goes back home. (only applicable to developers, not to hr or momo and other people) 3. They start hiring before they get the project. So basically when they come to know that there is a 0.01 % chance of getting a project they start hiring people. They prefer to hire people on FTE because it is cheaper for them instead of contracting with a third-party company. They will lie on your face that it's an 18-month contract and we have x developer working at the location and all. Where they are not even sure whether the client manager is going to meet them or not. When I was working I met many young and senior developers who got hired on the same basis and later when they didn't get the project they had to go away because of no project no job. They will give you a scheme while hiring like we have multiple projects we will place you there and all but trust me it's a lie. 4. There Software Engineering program boss m-o-m-o doesn't even have a sense of how to speak with a woman. I don't know what he thought of himself several times he utters bad words which he is not supposed to, Not in front of female nor male, he should respect all as hr and developers are the people who make money for them. 5. They call people from India on B2B and only pay 50 $ a day and a stay. Where a person has to travel on his own and also take care of the food. 6. Most of the time, management thinks of themself as a superstar and gives random project delivery dates without even discussing the project with the team. And later developers end up working till midnight every day just to ramp up the project 7. Lot of good people have already left a company because of this kind of management. 8. Recruitment team is appreciated more than developers because they are always in need of developers because 90% of the time good developers leave the company in a month or 2 after knowing the reality and work culture. There are many more things.,.but I hope this will help you understand how bad the company is. Please stay away. Good Luck.

Pros

Really good company to work for. Health benefits were great and was able to negotiate a good rate for my contract

Cons

Communication could improve in terms of staying in contact with the contractor. Working with the individual for their next role as the contract is nearing an end would be an area of opportunity as well.

Pros

Can be on interesting projects Some really good people If on correct team can be very good conditions such as remote work

Cons

Zero opportunities for growth Limited to no work/life balance No Severance Do not pay when on the bench Wrong team or manager the hr insanity can make it rough (One year they decided july 4th was not a holiday another they decided to lower the salary and increase the percentage that was bonus effectually giving everyone a pay cut).. Honestly a 2 might being generous but i have worked with some nice people there and the vast majority of the people were nice and good just wanting to get the job done . Any 5s are probably fake or the lucky few that do not have to deal with Photon Hr.
