Pros
Most of the people are absolutely lovely ( I haven’t spoken to everyone due to different shift patterns, people changing)
The clients are delightful, which was one of the things that made it hard for me to leave especially after seeing some of them for years since I started.
Good comms pay if you get the clients
Cons
Seems like the owner is trying to phase out the massage therapists without saying it. He’s hiring new physios and making them do Sports Massage treatments.
Undesirable or difficult therapists will be taken off the online booking system if he feels like it without telling you if you do something he doesn’t like.
The system they use is old and outdated. Full version wasn’t paid for, so only 11 people can sign onto the system at once. Be prepared to be either logged off randomly or receive a message for someone to log off the system.
The owner talks to employees like he’s the only one that knows anything about anything. Talking to him is like talking to a brick wall, just accept that nothing will ever change on his watch.
He hires management, but micro manages them and hinders the working of the clinic.
All the towels are washed until they fall apart before being replaced. They also smell quite bad after a while.
I don’t think the couch covers are changed on a regular basis in some of the rooms.
The AC units throughout the whole clinic are dirty and dusty.
The plinths weren’t serviced between 2020-2024, and only done in the end when -I think 3 of them - kept on not working properly.
Nothing electrical is PET tested.
The household dryers and washing machine tend to break frequently. Last time we didn’t have enough towel we were asked to reuse the towels, which all therapists refused.
For some reason there are more and more days they have to put out a discount to fill up empty places.
