Pros

This will be my 4th (and last) review of Physio. There was 1 "pro" whilst working for this organization - my local coworkers. Another "pro," I guess, was that when Select laid hundreds of us off, they provided us with 1 week of severance for every year of employment, whereas the "old Physio" policy was to provide only 2 or 3 weeks of severance regardless of tenure.

Cons

Well, they finally got right down to it, didn't they? After years and years of horrendous Directors and Executives and an outright fiasco of a job done by the Board, Physio was acquired by Select Medical. Appeared to be a strategy of, "we can't beat you, so we'll buy you." Those of us abused folks in the field hoped/prayed that Select would recognize the ridiculous incompetence of the folks under whom we had suffered for years and summarily fire these self-same dolts. Imagine our surprise when we were informed that there would be hundreds of layoffs (starting that day!) and were forced to leave our jobs later that afternoon as our access had been completely removed within a few hours. Adding insult to injury, we also soon discovered that the imbeciles mentioned above were going to KEEP THEIR JOBS and be allowed to remain within the Select fold. Thus, after many, many years of faithful service and top-notch results, I and many of my peers and seniors were cast from the fold and many others were demoted or transferred..

Pros

Great place to work at Physiotherapy Associates! Management was very nice and respectful and always encouraged us to ask questions if there was something we did not know how to do or understand.

Cons

Pay was really low and the workload can get increasingly overwhelming at times.
