They provide mediocre lunches daily

I work hard and what I received in return are lectures and broken promises. Not to mention the politics, favoritism, double standards and overall lack of respect I endured. Someone got reprimanded for providing internal status updates that didn't fit the boss's story and another lectured about how they don't want to improve themselves just for asking for the reason why they are told to do something. People are afraid to speak up and some who did ended up laid off. They have posted jobs similar to those of current employees in what looked suspiciously like efforts to replace them and could not give clear answers when asked about it. Management kept promising things then conveniently "forgot" or made up excuses not to follow through when asked.
