Pros

I’ve really enjoyed my experience so far. The team is supportive and approachable, and there’s a strong sense of collaboration across the organization. Leadership is engaged and encourages growth, which has made it a great environment to learn, take on new challenges, and share ideas. There’s also a genuine focus on continuous improvement, which makes the work feel meaningful.

Cons

The snack stash disappears faster than expected, so I definitely have to grab something early!

Pros

located near Bryant park ....that you will never visit because it is filled with tourists.

Cons

Everything about this bank — from leadership to culture to daily operations — is dysfunctional. The organization promotes itself as woman-owned and inclusive, but in practice, I observed no meaningful difference in management style, treatment of employees, or respect for diverse perspectives. The DEI branding feels like window dressing; many roles seem filled based on quotas rather than qualifications, resulting in a noticeable lack of experienced, knowledgeable professionals. The turnover rate is staggering. Interviews are conducted almost daily to fill constant vacancies. It’s common for employees to resign on the spot with no notice, and management treats it as routine — just another one gone. Teamwork is nearly non-existent. Common courtesy like saying "Good morning" has completely disappeared — even from senior leadership. It’s a small office, but you'd think people were working in different time zones with how disconnected they are. This place is chaotic, demoralizing, and devoid of professional development. If you're offered a role here, use it solely as a stepping stone while continuing your job search. There is no growth, no mentorship, and no real leadership — just a performative facade. Advice to Management: Culture starts at the top. Stop hiding behind branding and buzzwords. Invest in people, decency, and qualified talent. Most importantly, learn how to lead — not just manage attrition.

Piermont Bank Response

Thank you for your feedback. While we respect differing perspectives, we must clarify several inaccuracies in this review and wonder why you would spend time writing a fake review. Piermont Bank was founded in 2019, and no current Operations employee has been with the Bank for more than five years, as you claim. Additionally, we do not have a formal DEI initiative as described. Instead, diversity is embedded in our DNA—evident in our board, leadership, and employee base. We hire based on qualifications, not quotas. If you are a current employee, we encourage you to share honest feedback directly with your manager or HR. We offer multiple channels for open dialogue and regularly host team-building activities to foster connection and collaboration.
