Manager decisions are based on moods. Same questions, different employees, different answers. Requiring work on site because “we work better when we’re together” comes across as a control tactic when the encouraged form of communication is email or teams messages and conversations among teammates is discouraged. WFH is only allowed when you have personal relationships with upper management.
