Pros
- 10 year old "startup," plenty of people working on plenty of projects - management unafraid to be honest about product roadmap - free breakfast on Wednesdays - good downtown San Jose location
Cons
- management makes decisions based on anecdotal evidence - products are built with no valid data or research to justify the need - two departments run the entire company, everyone else is just going along for the ride - cross functional meetings are plain embarrassing - if I wanted to listen to old men yell about their opinions I'd visit my in-laws more often - some people genuinely seem to do nothing all day long, while 15 or so are constantly over-worked and busting their butts
