The biggest risk here is not the product or the day-to-day work - it is leadership. In some offices and teams, senior leaders create an environment where trust is low, expectations are inconsistent, and favoritism or perception can matter more than performance. Instead of clear direction and constructive support, employees are often left dealing with shifting standards, mixed messages, and a culture where appearances matter too much.
