Pros
I was able to obtain my security clearance and network with other federal workers.
Cons
HR and leadership communication are inconsistent and unclear. Benefits outlined in my offer letter were never fulfilled, and when I followed up, I was told to ignore the letter and wait for an updated handbook that never came. Roles were eliminated and then reposted with lower salaries, which felt misleading. When supporting clients, getting timely and accurate information from HR—especially regarding expenses, benefits, or other financial matters—was extremely difficult. It often felt like answers didn’t exist or leadership was unsure, which caused unnecessary delays and stress. There’s little transparency or accountability across the company, and speaking up or trying to clarify issues is often frowned upon. Overall, there’s no real structure in place to support long-term growth or development.
