Great Place to Work, but Closing :( - Head Backend Engineer Pixable Employee Review

This was the best place I ever worked. It was energizing and the team was really a team. Everyone was so motivated and driven to succeed. Editors were fair. Pay was fair.

It closed! Sometimes sad things happen when you're a start-up.

I guess the reviews above are made by their own... cuz its the what I experienced But anyway,...its : in New York City. can practice Spanish, and can know some kids from rich family in Venezuela.

This is a Spanish company. Its good for employees to know Spanish if you want to be a part of group. The company is ran by one or two good engineers, and they carried the rest of mediocre engineers. The tech group is the best part of the company, because the rest of the company do not even look like professional. They are more like relatives and friends from Spain or Venezuela. When I first join the company, I was really surprised the some full time employees in the company are very poor in their work. I bet they cannot even pass an normal interview in a normal company. But they did it in Pixable.
