Pros
The tips were amazing! I've made $100 in tips alone on some nights. You don't have to share your tips. Mileage is also paid for by the company. The company did make an effort to work around my school but they made things a bit harder at the same time. I did like my hat and I took the waiter's apron to help keep my personal money and cash from deliveries separate. I recommend you do this for busy days.
Cons
For whatever reason, pizza hut refused to have more than 2 drivers work a busy shift that could easily require 3 or 4 drivers to do. I worked 8 hours overtime on New Years Eve and I was not even paid for overtime. I was given a thank you and told employees are suppose to stay longer if the company is super busy and no employee leaves until the job is complete. (I quit shortly after this) Drivers do waaaaay more than anyone else while still being paid the same. Drivers are expected to take orders, work the register, answer the phone, deliver orders, wash dishes, help bus tables, prep the dough and sauces, run errands, work the cut table, fold the boxes, and clean both outside and inside and this is one day. Btw it may not sound like much, but when the delivers start going back to back (and they will) you won't be able to do the other jobs that everyone is screaming at you to do. It's like a manger position without the management pay. They say they work around your school schedule but by that they mean you have 20 mins from the end of class to get to work. And then you can work until 10 at night because you want to get your hours up right? My coworkers were quiet possibly the most drama filled group outside of the cast of the Jersey Shore but hopefully you won't have this problem.
