Good job to get your feet wet in the waitress world and gain some experience serving tables. Menu is easy to learn and suggest things to customers.
Cons
Low pay for waitresses. expected to do more than just wait on tables which can get very stressful if the restaurant is busy. expect to work many hours with very little recognition of your job.
