The scheduling was a disaster and policies on mileage reimbursement were unfair. They would have me driving all across the city with NO compensation between jobs (sometimes 150-200 miles per day!). My immediate supervisor was dismissive of my concerns to the point of rudeness. Her actions and the mileage issue sealed the deal for my departure from POM.
The skills, (expensive) equipment, and experience needed for this kind of work is unmatched to the low wages of this company.
One of the memorable moments was when I made a small error when submitting a job. The process is relatively complex and requires many steps. I immediately notified them of my error and apologized, yet three supervisors still contacted me to scold me for the error. Seriously, THREE different people took time out of their day to point out my error. It felt like a scene from Office Space.
