Some very talented but very irritable gatekeeper-type senior employees, that make it difficult for newer employees to learn in a supportive work environment
Poor Product Management processes made Product Development very difficult, requirements were very vague and goals would frequently change due to senior leadership requests, regardless of the planned work resulting in a top-down micromanagement culture
Leadserhip is extremely focussed on the startup mentality to make the company a huge success (naturally), however the startup company culture has already become set in it's ways and is stagnant due to lack of new blood or counterbalance to the current leadership
No company stock options, when the main motivation to work harder from leadership was to increase our stock options value
Basic issues in contract and related HR documentation
We were using Discord instead of Slack to save money and other limits to using industry standard tools based on cost
Didn't get sent one of the company's product devices to use and had to use my own mobile device for testing the mobile app we worked on
The company anniversary event organised for the employees was a picnic and some games in a park. While certain employees travel to sports stadiums around the world as a part of their job role
Tech cliquey with many inside jokes, as since several very early key employees are very close with the founder and all have a staked share in the company
