Pros
Work from home.......that's it! As an ex-pharma rep I thought this would be a good part-time job as I go into retirement. I understand the reason for such programs, but how Pleio pays benefits everyone but the Mentors doing the calling work.........unless they give you more than one drug project to work on to expand your potential. Those making any money to speak of have been given four to five drug projects to work on, not one or two. You realize this in time, but you don't control the favoritism of who gets on what project. and when.
Cons
You only get paid if a patient answers the phone and you get to a certain point in the script. Not many answer the phone and want to listen to the script. If you don't deliver the script the correct way you don't get paid. If you get dinged for this you get points against you which makes it even harder o get on a second or third project to expand your potential calls. You will re-arrange your schedule, take hours out of your day, and have no control of what you make if no one listens to you or hangs up on you or there are not may calls when you picked times. Then you learn there are certain hours better than others and days of the week , but the drug project you are on also can affect your pay. Perhaps someone taking diabetes meds will be more willing to talk to you than someone on a mental health drug. When you've asked enough questions to your supervisor and complained about putting in so much time and following the best time/days and still not making the "potential" money a few make, you learn that unless you put in enough hours and weekends like this, you won't be "chosen" to get a few drug projects rather than one that will even allow you more calls to more people who MAY answer the phone and let you get through the script. Not worth your time! Get paid for your efforts with another company.
