Pros
There are smart, hardworking people at Plexus who genuinely want the company to succeed. Many care deeply about improving the product and the business, and continue to show commitment despite the challenges and ongoing instability.
Cons
Avoid Plexus if you value a healthy culture or transparent leadership. Senior management appears far more focused on optics, internal politics, and deflecting blame than on building a sustainable product or business. The environment feels cliquey and immature, with behaviour that would be out of place in a professional organisation.
Leadership instability has been a recurring issue, with frequent executive-level changes creating ongoing uncertainty and a lack of clear direction. This instability filters through the organisation and contributes to a culture where accountability is avoided and individuals are quietly sacrificed to protect those higher up.
The culture is toxic and stagnant. Despite constant internal change and restructuring, there is little meaningful progress. Morale declines, priorities shift frequently, and the organisation struggles to move forward in any cohesive way.
A key contributor to this environment is HR leadership. “Confidentiality” is inconsistently applied and often weaponised. Bullying behaviour goes unchecked, prior agreements are reneged on, and gossip is actively driven from HR leadership rather than addressed. This behaviour appears to be rewarded. Those who engage in politics and blame-shifting progress, while people who focus on doing their jobs well are taken for granted or overlooked.
Everything changes rapidly, yet nothing truly improves. The same problems persist, leadership continues to rotate, and the organisation remains stuck in place.
