Pros

- global organization - lots of different departments and divisions - impressive plant - great concept to recycle not degradable product

Cons

- lengthy interview process (4 months from application to offer) - required to do take home assignment for mid level role - role responsibilities /title changed mid interview process - the salary range that was discussed twice in the interview was not given, underpaid. - the office location was also changed from what was discussed during the meeting with CEO. - after working for them for 1.5 days, was notified that their business priorities had changed and I wasn't the right fit. - weeks later the role was re-posted with a higher title and some of the exact same responsibilities from the role for which I had interviewed for. - was never interviewed with direct team lead or the immediate team.

Pros

-Pliteq empowers their employees: gives them full control over their territories, sets realistic expectations with employee feedback, continuous support, does not have a hierarchical structure -Pliteq encourages continuous feedback and dialogue: what is working, what is not, what can we do better? -Constantly Innovating: What else? What can we do better? -Huge foundation in recycling and sustainability! -Amazing work-life balance

Cons

There is no hand holding at Pliteq (I think this is a good thing). There is plenty of support but you need to ask for it and constantly communicate with the team. If you are looking for something where job descriptions are clearly defined, a clear hierarchy, and a prescriptive day-to-day way of working. Pliteq is very flexible so if you crave rigid structure this is not the place for you.
