Pros

Plus offers a great work atmosphere. We have a basketball court, are allowed to drink alcohol at the office, bring dogs into the office, open door policy with the CEO, pretty friendly group of people, and offer a nice vacation package deal, but that's about where it stops.

Cons

The second you aren't billable they will fire you. Management plays favorites and gives more billable work to certain employees even if they aren't as good of a dev as the rest of us. I've been here for 2 years and have seen so many good employees get canned the second their project ends. There isn't any room for career advancement at Plus. Also, that vacation package deal, if you are randomly fired, which especially seems to be the trend here in the last few months, Plus won't pay out your vacation days. They offer way below average salary packages. One last thing, the "Bonus structure" they offer is garbage and Plus gives false information about it when you get hired. They pretend that you earn 20% of what we charge, but you don't. You only get 20% if you work 160+ billable hours for the month, which is basically impossible since Plus doesn't have enough work for everyone.

Co-workers are the best, Flexible Schedule, Work-from-home a few days a week and work in the office a few days a week is great, Management is very responsive to my needs, the culture is outstanding, office is clean and professional, fun environment, I enjoy my job.

Cons

Can't think of any except that I don't get to see my co-workers like I used to due to covid.

Pros

The culture is great. There is a sense of camaraderie and friendship. There is definitely a work hard/play hard mentality where the company encourages outside of work activities. The happy hours are frequent, and so are the cook outs, quick basketball games in the gym, etc... From an actual work perspective, as far as I am concerned I feel pretty fulfilled in my job. I get to work on projects that are both interesting and challenging. I don't feel any boredom and rarely feel overwhelmed, lost or unsupported either. I am busy most days with work that I can really sink my teeth into. Not a lot of micromanagement from my direct supervisor, which is great and gives me a good amount of freedom on how to run my projects. Also makes you feel that you are trusted to accomplish what is required of you.

Cons

This is a case where a pro can sometimes turn into a con, with the lively office, there is sometimes a little too much distraction when trying to be productive. Also, there is some room for improvement when it comes to internal processes and standards. Some of these things are trying to be figured out.
