Pros

I have worked for PlusOne Solutions for more than 5 years and know that we all take pride on what we do. We are a passionate group that give our best. I have seen the company grow and change as needed to ensure it continues to provide great internal and external customer service. Training and coaching are given to help you become an expert at the job and you are encourage to learn more to ensure your growth and provide you with the ability to support other functional areas. PlusOne provides benefits within the first year of employment, that other companies would make you wait at least one year to qualify. They listen to employee needs and work to find solutions that would positively impact both the individual and the company. Suggestions for improvement are welcome and often implemented. We are encouraged to work independently and in teams; being accountable for our assigned work duties in order to create successful teams. Micromanagement is not needed because we know what we need to do and do it. We are acknowledged for our efforts and having fun at the workplace while maintaining a professional work atmosphere is encouraged. Clear communication of expected work hours helps us all to obtain good work life balance. PlusOne leadership cares about our work and personal needs, we are a family.

Cons

Not a con just a reality- We all work hard to be successful and expect all who join the company to do the same.

Pros

The working team is small and compact, makes communication and troubleshooting very easy, you work with no pressure and comfortably.

Cons

No cons, except that I worked remotely from the other side of the Atlantic so constant night shifts were a bit exhausting.

Pros

Met some great people, other than that I really can't think of anything good.

Cons

Two founders are extremely non - trusting people, even to the point of reading employees emails on a regular basis. They are non caring people, you could have a death in the family and they wouldn't even say a "sorry to hear that". They don't even let people leave an hour early the eve of Big Holiday's. Only "professional" company I've seen that makes even non essential people come in the day after Thanksgiving. With the current management in place as in the past, they will never have a successful sales dept. They bring people in to build a pipeline and get rid of them so they don't have to pay commissions. From my observation that's what took place with every member of sales over their 10 years in business. The CEO thinks he's the only one that can close deals, as a matter of fact he has closed almost all of their total customer base of 30. He is smarter than all and the first one to let you know that. He constantly is testing people just to make them feel stupid. He purposely intimidates and criticizes employees every chance he gets. I would never recommend anyone working for this company.
