Pros

Being at the cutting edge of the podcast industry means your ideas and innovations truly affect the machinations of a thriving medium. The rules are being written by you and your team every day. Podchaser encourages collaboration, and a "best idea wins" approach to the business. This is a perfect company for those that love to cross-train, and "multi-tasks well" is more than just keywords on your resume. Great work/life balance with flexible schedules and a 100% remote workforce!

Cons

If you need to have strong guidelines and processes to go by, this is not the company for you. I'm sure Podchaser will eventually have better cemented processes, but the industry itself is still in the figuring out its functions. Sometimes no one will have an answer for you, and you have to figure it out yourself. For me that's exciting, but could be frustrating for some personality types. The company rapidly expanded a little over a year ago, so some of the bells and whistles of a bigger organization aren't here yet, but they're coming. Most of the "cons" are just the normal growing pains of a startup.

Pros

Podchaser's products continue to gain traction and maintain leadership in its core category by a wide margin (Earned / Paid media panning). 2024 was a huge year for Podchaser releases, and looking forward to 2025 the product roadmap is even more exciting. Transparent culture: Podchaser is full of a diverse mix of genuine people. Fully remote and flexible work environment, without micromanagement.

Cons

If you prefer the structure that comes with being in a larger company, working at a startup or smaller tech company like Podchaser might not be for you.
