Pros

My co-workers and supervisors were great overall - friendly and approachable. When I worked there, many had been at that location under Point 360 and its previous iterations for over 10 years. Good health benefits.

Cons

Low pay for certain positions, considering their responsibilities. It operates like a post factory - the work can become pretty monotonous. In an effort to please its clients, particularly Disney-ABC International, they sometimes put up with a lot of abuse in terms of taking on huge work orders under tight or shifting deadlines and so on. However, this is just the nature of the work and overall system, not an indictment of the company as an individual player. As for the corporate culture, an anecdote: The Burbank facility is often a little chilly. I didn't mind so much personally, especially during the summer, but the amount of air conditioning being pumped into that building was extremely wasteful. Many employees dressed in layers, even when it was sweltering outside. Apparently, the CEO refused to pay for the AC units to be fixed because it would have cost more in the short term than just paying the higher energy bills - this, despite numerous complaints from the employees.

Pros

Benefits. Work culture. Upward mobility. Dignified management style. Building confidence. Hard work is valued. People are respectful and care about one another.

Cons

It’s the film industry. Our job is to work with some of the most vile, corrosive televised media content I’ve ever seen in my life. Disney is the satanic government of media, and being an employee under them is a humiliating experience if you care about your work.
