Pros

1. A great platform for people who are technology enthusiast and keen learners. 2. You can go solo... commando.. and chisel your skills. 3. Great support from senior key people (Leads/Architects/Board Member/CEO) #Respect 4. "Fail fast, learn fast" policy 5. Compensations are like reward here. You got to really "EARN" it. 6. Flexi-time 7. Good homemade food. (Bit spicy but healthy..Employee's contribution) 8. Less corporate politics. 9. Equal opportunity for growth. 10.There is always work. Immense opportunity to learn everyday.

Cons

1. People cry most of their tenure here because of the type of work. Either they don't like the way of doing it or they are just not meant for it. 2. Working down your designation. Architect will Lead and Develop. Lead will develop and manage. Manager will perform QA. HR will do project management. CEO designs flow. UX designer develops websites. 3. No value considered for over-timing/stretching/weekend work on a business value by HR. (No fair compensation will be rewarded) 4. No process to follow. People have their own process. Gets irritating when you need IT support but instead you sit and fix by following some document written in gibberish. 5. Requirements always come late and at severity. 6. Release dates are always unrealistic and can impact work-life balance, emotions and personal goals. 7. Need to tolerate sloths, simpletons and good-for-nothing-yet-important peers. (eezzy--peezy :P) 8. HR... well... people management, soft-skill, inter-personal, communication, retention, salary break-ups, employee benefits (other than salary) is of high pity. 9. Nothing is polite/soft-spoken/motivated unless you can take it .. give no mind and put your head between your work and the constructive thoughts. 10. Team-work lacks. No brainstorming. No divergent thoughts/ideas to converge into a singular and productive thought/thing. No fun to wrap people into team. 11. Technical training is poor for freshers. (You have to run solo in the beginning or get in touch with right people fast)

Pros

Pointcross is a highly innovative and disruptive company. The work is very challenging because we are out in front of everyone else and introducing solutions to problems most life sciences companies never realized they had. Whatever role you are in (marketing or business development, engineering, development or scientist) this company offers challenge for everyone. The management style is to allow people to think and problem solve. Every employee is heard. The management believes that exceptional thought and ideas can come from anyone and they encourage and challenge everyone to contribute intellectually. Employees work hard and are passionate about every task. There is a tremendous amount of pride and craftsmanship that goes into each and every task, however small or seemingly trivial. The CEO has extremely high expectations of everyone. However, everyone is very supportive. So even an average guy like me can be successful because I am surrounded by so much talent. I'm working on a number of different projects that are all very exciting and the people I am teamed with are a joy to work with. Everyone respects each other. I work with people at our offices in France and in Bangalore and we work together very well and are able to accomplish much. There are no egos or backstabbers in this company. Most employees are amazingly selfless and committed to the success of the company. People see themselves as part of something bigger and do not act like the company revolves around them.

Cons

Very difficult to hire people who fit the culture.

Pros

Flexible timing. - again it too is not good as you can decide what time you come tom office not at what time you leave.

Cons

Poor Planning work on Weekends and National holidays with a promise of comp off. PM and HR manager's will not approve leave's , they pretend as if we are asking for their one eye. CEO has all the control on each and everything, he interfear's every where. His is the last work, rest everyone including company GM are his chela's. No time for meeting, they even start a meeting at 9 PM on a Friday and ask everyone to come and work during weekend. you can plan a holiday. Food is provided there but its tasteless. Zero work-Life balance Use of abusive language in meetings. no respect to individuals (be it a boy or girl)
