Pros

Good place to start as a beginner to get experience, don't make a career out of it.

Cons

No apprenticeship, not the safest company. Get in and get out.

Pros

Get your foot in the door to the trade. If you get an interview you pretty much have the job already, their turn around rate is quick.

Cons

You will barely make 40 hours a week, you will be lucky to make 40 more like 35 a week. There is hardly ever overtime so don’t go in expecting any. The benefits are expensive and the office is disorganized. You are expected to buy all your own FR even though it’s required. You won’t get direct deposit, you will get a paper check. If you have to work out of town you pony up all the expenses and the “per diem” they give you is a joke when you are out of town constantly. You are forced to take unpaid holidays whether you want to or not. They like to do “8 day hitches” around holidays. You are working weekends but again they make it so you wont get OT and make it 4 days and 4 days of regular pay again barley making 40 hours. If you are desperate to get into the trade this scab of a company is for you. Don’t stay here long cause it’s a dead end job. Keep applying for union jobs, best way to go. Don’t make this company a career.
