Pros

Location. Casual dress code. A good place to start if you have no experience or are coming from out of state.

Cons

Put your time in and move on - attorneys and staff. Not a long term opportunity. Inexperienced, insecure HR department. Ever-changing staff and endless ineffective policies and procedures. Mundane work. Crappy offices (i.e interior offices for associates and no offices for paralegals).

Pros

The best reason to work at Pollart Miller is that it is no longer Thomas, Pollart & Miller. Since the firm split apart earlier this year that management has excelled at making the necessary changes to improve our culture and make sure that we all know how valued we are as employees. I like all my coworkers and what I do.

Cons

The main con at working at Pollart Miller is the billable requirement is sometimes difficult to meet.
