Pros
Never one hour of boredom. While working at Pollo Tropical you will interact with many personalities both customers and team members. All of which you will connect on a regular basis and will become like family/friends. You will grow as a person may it be work ethic, communication, team work, time management, and fast paced thinking. You will be put into the action and you will learn skills quickly. Work hard and you will be a master in customer service, food safety, food service, speed, multitasking, problem solving, and most importantly how you react to extreme pressure. You will come in clueless and come out educated. Educated in work ethic, educated in social awareness of those who live in your community, and educated in the value of working hard for a dollar.
Cons
Life Balance. Not a good place for life to work balance if you work full time or as a team leader, assistant manager, or general manager you will be working a lot. If you work full time you will get two days off a week but most likely those day offs will be randomly chosen each week making it difficult to plan life events around. However you may request days off in advance which they will keep their word to a T. Just be prepared to work hard and plan your days off if you want some sort of social life.
