Pros

The positive reviews were written by employees with the owner's son watching and approving what they wrote. They have openly joked about this

Cons

Engineers are expected to work outrageous hours and weekends. Employees are always expected to cancel personal plans and preapproved vacations to appease the owners. Employees are treated like slaves and are disposable. Everyone is afraid to speak up, or make a simple mistake. Owner calls everyone "stupid" repeatedly. I have seen 100's of peoples walk thru the revolving door. Ask anyone that lives in Pinellas County, and either they have or know someone that has worked there and they can tell you the truth. Poly pack has worn thru the local work pool, and has now resorted to using recruiters and hiring from outside the state. They have a reputation for hiring good people, promising them many great things, making them leave really good jobs, and even making them move; then just firing them without any notice

Pros

Working at PolyPack has been a truly rewarding experience. As the in-house videographer and photographer, I've had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of creative projects that help showcase our machines and company culture. What really stands out is the trust and autonomy I’m given in my role—my ideas are valued, and I'm encouraged to innovate and grow. The team here is collaborative and supportive, and leadership is approachable and genuinely cares about employee well-being. I’ve also appreciated the stability and structure that comes with working for a well-established, family-oriented company that has been in the industry for decades. PolyPack offers a great work-life balance, and I’ve had access to the tools and resources I need to do my job effectively. It’s a great environment for anyone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team that takes pride in what they do.

Cons

Like any manufacturing environment, there are occasional challenges with tight deadlines or adapting to last-minute project changes, but that’s part of the creative process—and I’ve found those situations to be manageable thanks to the strong support from my team.

Pros

I've had a very positive experience working at Polypack. The company provides a great workspace, and the environment is one where you feel genuinely supported. Management is a real standout here; they actively listen to employees' concerns and ideas, which makes you feel valued. Most importantly, I've been incredibly impressed with their understanding and flexibility regarding health issues. They have shown that they truly care about their employees' well-being, not just as workers but as people. It's refreshing to work for a company that treats you with respect and compassion.

Cons

It's difficult to think of significant downsides. If anything, perhaps there could be more company-wide social events to help build on the already positive atmosphere. However, this is a minor point, as the day-to-day environment is excellent.
