Pros
The company presents itself professionally and communicates clearly at first. The mission sounds meaningful in theory.
Cons
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share this experience for future candidates. I went through multiple rounds of interviews with Pomelo Health, including a detailed written assignment that took significant time and effort. The process appeared structured and professional at first, but as it went on, it became increasingly clear that something was off.
Communication was polished but inconsistent. Feedback was generic and lacked transparency, despite being told that decisions were based on “fit” rather than skills or performance. The experience left me questioning whether the outcome was truly based on qualifications or if there were pre-determined preferences influencing the process.
For a company that promotes values like equity and inclusion, the recruiting experience didn’t align with that message. It felt more like a box-checking exercise — and it’s disappointing to see how easily promising candidates can be dismissed for reasons that don’t appear objective.
