Pros
A place to get basic carpentry/tools experience along with loading/unloading and driving large box trucks if desired. Received a $1/hr. raise after first 6 months. The shop moved to Saco, ME in 2018, so some things may have changed or improved with that, but I couldn't speak to it as I worked in their Scarborough, ME location.
Cons
Not a place to get fine craftsmanship experience or any real woodworking experience. Most products consist of CNC'd MDF pieces and cheap cabinets. If you work in the shop, the work is very monotonous. Very negative and sarcastic atmosphere. If you work as an installer, lots of interstate travel is very common with required OT and a shared hotel rooms. No PTO offered until after 1yr. of employment, then I think it was 5 days.
