Repetitive but good environment - Retail Associate Popular Book Employee Review

- u earn quite abit of money if you are okay with working 4-5 days a week and from morning till closing - time can past quite fast when thrs crowd - the full-time staffs are generally quite nice and helpful; so working environment is quite okay

- only one type of shift from opening to closing with 2 1hr breaks. - busy during school holidays - have to juggle between displaying stocks and attending to customer’s enquiries - you will be so busy till u have not much time to finish displaying stocks - I was in the english department; basically managing all the storybooks; the amount of stocks that comes in from mon-thur is crazy and there are barely enough space left to hold all the remaining stocks that cant be placed on shelves

Being employed and paid to work

Weird lunch and dinner timings, clock in and out late pay is also deducted even if it's one minute, worker is liable for everything (e.g. name tag lost must pay, uniform must return)
