Pros
Honestly, some of the co-workers are the only thing help you cope with the blah working conditions. Most of the kids you get to work with are awesome. Close proximity to good food places for lunch, and very close to the Inner Harbor for break time. Good food from parties. You can pretty much set your schedule (but since you get paid kibbles it's the least they can do)
Cons
Very very low pay. 28 to 32 hour per week hour cap. You will be overworked and underpaid. Terrible benefits. No vacation/sick time. Expected to work extra events, but still get capped at said 32 hours. No overtime. No Holiday pay. Even at the full-time level things are not much better. Warning you will come across some terrible parents/teachers/and school groups. So if you don't have a tough skin about, you will be eaten alive. High Turn Rate! In my time at Port Discovery I could recall a time where we would average 2 to 4 people quitting a month. Some people have stayed less than a month, some less than a week, a few people quit their first day, or never showed up once they got the job. That says a lot. You will quickly find it's a dead end. Very political. When you could make more per hour working at Wal-Mart or just about anywhere else for that matter what's the incentive for staying?
