Pros
I wouldn't normally leave a review but Portify is an exceptional place to work, from my experience.
On a business level:
Portify's mission and values are incredibly pressing issues right now that need to be addressed; they really care about the lives of the gig economy workers they have set out to improve. Even as a temporary employee, the team consistently looked to help me increase my skills and further my development - which was definitely beyond what I expected of the role. As an employee, you will have exposure to all aspects of the business and management maintains a flat hierarchy. The team values transparency and feedback - with regular 1-to-1s with the CEO / CTO, giving employees the opportunity to discuss their growth and areas for improvement, which I think is really important.
On a cultural level:
The team dynamic is very open and welcoming, together they have helped build Portify to what it is today (which is very much still growing). They have regular socials outside work - expect activities ranging from cooking, painting and so on! The team also regularly do sports together (think - climbing, golf etc.) so its safe to say Portify values its employees work-life balance. A typical work day also see's lots of laughs around the office.
On a practical level:
Portify's office is centrally located in London in a co-working space with a range of activities for employees to get involved in. This includes: yoga and HIIT on the rooftop, sweet treats weekly and mixers after work to network with other companies.
Overall, I would urge individuals to apply! This company is definitely one to watch.
Cons
Ensure the culture and elements explained above are maintained while scaling and keep doing what you're doing!
