Pros

There are good people that work here and have a lot of potential, but they have to spend a lot of their time cleaning up messes and brown-nosing the CEO.

Cons

The only good thing about working at PostScan is that I made friends with other people there who understood what it was really like. They also ended up leaving as soon as they could. The disrespect trickles down through the whole company directly from the CEO, so everyone talks down to you, and expects you to do extra tasks even if you never agreed to them. The CEO does not have any people skills, nor interest in supporting or motivating employees. The job itself is low-skill and tedious, and can be done in a couple hours at most - even though they require a full 8 hour day Monday to Friday. Personally, I believe it's better to work in retail or the food industry than with this company.

Pros

What I really admire about this company is that it is a growing business. In the time I have been here it has grown double in size and it continues to expand, which brings a promising future to the business. There are tons of caring people, especially in management, who are eager to assist every coworker. There is always someone there who can answer a question for you. You also get freedom to share your ideas. The CEO always takes the employee's ideas into consideration. He is constantly improving on how he runs the company and how he speaks to everyone, which I admire.

Cons

There tends to be inconsistency with employees. Since it is a small company, some offices are managed by one person which leads to fraudulent activity. Sometimes you get whisked into doing something you did not initially sign on to do however, you can work with the company on this. Since a lot of your coworkers are virtual, proper mannerisms between employees sometimes fails.

Pros

The starting pay was good, but you practically have to fight for any kind of raise, while some of your peers have gotten several in the last year, even if your performance is the same. Given a lot of freedom. Small company, so many people have an influence in how it’s run. There are a lot of nice, genuine people working there just doing their best. The regular employees are the ones that make it good.

Cons

This is honestly the most disorganized company I have ever worked for. You’ll be hired as one thing and end up doing something completely different, but those responsibilities are not communicated effectively. Human Resources is a joke. There was no measure of performance, no performance reviews, no scheduled raises. The CEO constantly schedules all of these meetings with you but doesn’t show up and blames you for not reminding him. There are managers who are so disrespectful and rude and the CEO knows that they’re a problem, but refuses to fire them. There are shady/illegal practices going on that the CEO condones and encourages. The sexism is very obvious too. There was another review on here about sexism that has since been deleted, but ask just about any woman that works there and they’ll tell you. I also agree with another reviewer who said that the CEO doesn’t have people skills. I have no idea how he has made it this far in a business that is meant to be built around relationships. The work/life balance is sometimes fine, and then other times, I would be getting phone calls at 8pm and was expected to answer them off the clock. I have also heard various comments from upper management that are absolutely considered racist and prejudice towards certain groups of people.
