Pros

I've worked at Postscript for many years and can honestly say the culture here is the best I've ever experienced. The leadership, the team, and the product are all something I genuinely believe in. Compensation has always been fair, work-life balance is there, and time off/pto has always been flexible. What makes PS truly special is that they lead with humanity. They're transparent, communicative, and show up for their people. At the hardest points of my life, Postscript was there in ways I never expected from an employer. That has meant more to me than literally anything else.

Cons

Two things to know going in: things move fast, and it's possible your role will stretch. You'll likely find yourself doing work outside your official lane, not because of poor planning, but because the business needs it and the team is scrappy. If you're flexible and bought into the mission, this won't bother you. If you need rigid structure or clear boundaries, it might. Same goes for pace, we pivot, we adapt, we don't get too comfortable. I see that as a strength, but it's worth knowing before you join.

Pros

Fast paced, you learn a ton, compensation, remote only = flexibility, great people, so ahead of many other companies in terms of AI adoption, majority of team are all high performers (some exceptions)

Cons

Remote only is not for everyone. Requires a lot of autonomy. Postscript rewards people based on performance. If you are not a high performer, you will not be rewarded.

Pros

Amazing colleagues. Lots of smart team members willing to come together to find a solution or offer recommendations to be customer first.

Cons

- LOTS of layoffs. Bound to happen in tech, but in less than two years there were multiple rounds of layoffs, including a larger RIF - Like other reviews mention, lots of emphasis and power given to senior leadership with shady/limited comms shared to the rest of the team. They claim there are cutbacks (above mentioned layoffs), yet senior leaders are on offsites a few times a month. - Pay is not on par with industry standards and hard to get meaningful promotions based on the corporate competencies structure they expect you to follow. Yet, many roles have blurred lines and responsibilities that don’t fall in line with their competency structure. - If you are not buddy buddy with senior leader and/or in a role that draws a lot of company attention or impact, good luck trying to advance or be given new opportunities you express interest in. - As other reviews mention, they do not operate as a mature startup and still seem to fly by the seat of their pants
