Pros

Nice facility to work, parking, some people are nice but I know they talk behind your back, free soda, convenient location

Cons

I initially made a review stating that the company was great. That was my first week there and this is a more recent review. The company treat you very nice at first but the more they get comfortable with you the more jokes they make which can make you very uncomfortable. Also I was the only black sales rep in the entire office of 70 people. So you can imagine just how I felt every day coming in and people treating you as if you're a foreign animal. This is not a diverse company to work for if you are black. Also the director who hired me ended up telling me that people in the office are sensitive to my cologne and not to wear it. But half of the office smokes cigarettes which is what I am sensitive to but that's another story. All in all the company does that seem to have many advance and opportunities and again they are not diverse at all especially when it comes to black people in the sales department. I felt like a fish in fishbowl full of sharks.

Thank you for posting this review. As you may know, the company had been providing flex working arrangements for those associates who lived in the city of Chicago. 2-3 days/week from home or our satellite office in the city or at our main campus in Bolingbrook, IL. Since the pandemic (March 13th of 2020), having the technologies like MS Teams and a VOIP phone system & other platforms, the company was able to continue operating in a remote work environment. Over the past 18 months the company has published our remote work policy. This has enabled both a better work-life balance for our associates as well as allowed for hybrid/flexible time in the office. Flexible office days range from at home internet outages to vendor meetings held in one of the conference rooms, with some associates simply seeking a change of atmosphere occasionally since our culture is firmly rooted in work friendships. Times change and the company does it's best to keep up with all facets of ensuring our associates are safe, a career pathing plan, competitive if not above market wages along with very affordable healthcare insurance and various other common benefits. I am saddened if any aspect of remote working during your tenure with us wasn't available at the time. Today, our remote work policies have been a positive for current associates as well as the company, which can now also attract talent from the lower 48 States to compliment the outstanding associates we have today in the greater Chicago-land area.
