Pros
I started at Powerforce without having done any real sales work. They put me through training and taught me the techniques I needed to do the job. They then nurtured and encouraged me to learn more elements of the business. When showing signs of enjoyment in coaching, they encouraged me to train new starters and new accounts on the business and were happy for me to lead how I thought was best. My opinion was asked and listened to. Everyone was approachable, from others in the same role as myself to senior management. They took an interest in the people and let them lead the direction of the business. I left Powerforce because a company approached me and offered me a package that I would never have been offered if it hadn’t been for the training and encouragement I had received while at Powerforce.
Cons
With every job we all want more money and more holidays. But the only real con for me was I would have liked to have done more team bonding with my regional team and national team. Although this does happen, being a BDE can become isolated and I always enjoyed the time I spent with my colleagues and management team.
