Pros

Two wfh days a week.

Cons

The most toxic and dysfunctional workplaces I’ve experienced. Extremely poor management, with underqualified individuals repeatedly promoted or brought into leadership roles without accountability, while hardworking employees are very underpaid. Micromanagement is the norm. Employee complaints and feedback are ignored all the time, even when the same unprofessional issues were raised over long periods of time. There is little to no recognition for hard work, zero career progression, and a culture driven by favoritism and double standards depending on who management prefers. Despite branding itself as a consulting company, employees have no exposure to clients, while management kept client anonymous for no valid reasons. The work is very repetitive, you're given the same task and writing up the same news every day. You won't even know who you're actually working for. Senior management genuinely do not care about employees wellbeing, no compassion towards people's struggles and living conditions. The internal culture is deeply unhealthy, with constant drama, poor communication, and low morale across teams, loads of scandals! I've even been rejected by headhunters and referrals solely because of the negative reputation this company has in the industry. I strongly discourage anyone looking for a professional and healthy environment from joining. Do not do it.

Pros

The company is doing very innovative things in the industry and still has a pleasant relaxed feel as it expands. It recently moved to very sleek offices and this has really boosted well-being as the previous offices had no heating and had bad facilities. The projects are very interesting to anyone with an interest in the geographies covered by each team, and there is scope to work with other teams and continue learning. Teams are small and constantly developing. New approaches and tools are adopted as the company expands and there are now dedicated employees focused on tech and training. Positive feedback from clients is fed down to teams which is encouraging. Management is extremely approachable and open to chat at any time. There is flexibility and I would say that the management genuinely cares about employee well-being. The company has moved seamlessly to working from home during the Covid-19 crisis, and made assurances to maintain jobs. This couod not have been easy and is highly appreciated! There is scope for progression but it has to be partly self-directed and a certain level of willingness to go above and beyond is expected, but this is no different to other companies to be honest. Overall, there is a great feel at the company and I can't think of any serious criticism! I'm very content working there.

Cons

A bonus remuneration scheme might incentivise individuals to continue to produce superior products, but remuneration at the company is already very competitive.
