It is very project-based if you dont have a global role.

Lots of opportunities to take responsibility for interesting and impactful projects, even as an intern. Good speaker series to learn about different roles in the organization and career paths in international development. Remote experience was good, and the internship is probably even better when in person. All the people I worked with were bright and focused on producing quality work. They also seemed to care deeply about helping smallholder farmers as effectively as possible.

Not too many. People are sometimes spread across multiple projects because the organization is constantly expanding into new areas, but new hires will help with managing that workload.
