Pros
I've worked at other consulting firms, in fact I vowed never to work at one again, but yet I've found a home at Precision. I have interesting clients that treat me with respect and colleagues that I genuinely enjoy and learn from every day. Management is unfairly maligned - there's no one I've learned more from or who have given me more career growth opportunities over the past 6+ years than the founding partners. Many years later and the work continues to keep me energized, engaged, and challenged -- and for that, I'm well compensated and receive great benefits.
Cons
A lot of people come to Precision thinking it's an advocacy firm or political campaign-in-waiting; it's not. It's a communications consulting firm. We work for a range of clients, many (more than half) are corporate clients, doing really meaningful and impactful work and who value our opinion. Understanding that from the get-go and you'll really enjoy your time at Precision.
