Pros

Very competitive pay. Shop stayed busy. (How they stayed busy also works into a Con, but better than a slow shop, right?) Most customers obviously really liked the place and being competent as I was, I felt like I belonged whenever I worked with the customers of the shop. Management often added a few tenths of flag hours to jobs that looked really rusted out and extra difficult. This helped, but very rusty jobs tend to still take longer over a car that's in better shape, but still, very few managements would do that. Kudos.

Cons

Got fired for serving in the Army Reserve. Basic services like oil changes paid a lot less and even as a Lead Technician I was expected to do a lot of oil changes, even when diagnostic work was piling up. No background check to work there. That may be helpful to someone, but people with good backgrounds may not want to work with some people this attracts. If in mediation something has to be deleted, delete this following paragraph. Worked with a criminal who kept threatening me over actions that were reasonable to any other person or shop I regularly worked at. They showed poor leadership to not let go of this person. Any employer is charged with the responsibility to keep a work place safe. They only changed oil. He worked while being on his phone a lot and laughed with his friends with how having been in jail, it wouldn't be a big deal to be there again. Their very low prices kept us busy, but the cars were usually in rougher shape, which took longer to work on.
