Pros

I've been here for over 5 years and I could not be more proud to work for a company that is so genuine and supportive of the employees and me. We go over the moon for our employees and it shows! You don't get half of the things at other companies than you do here. I could not believe what was offered here compared to my previous employers. Employees are happy, encouraging, and always so welcoming. I primarily work remote and go onsite for special events and the events that the company puts together for the employees is amazing. We are truly cared for by leadership. I hear about how much they go to bat for us and work so very hard to offer the things they can to us. Employees also have to do their part. Employees have to be committed and understand that happiness is what you make of your work as well. Employers can only meet their employees 50%. The employees have to give their 50% as well. It's not a one way street. Give it a try and you'll see you will be happy coming to work, happy to understand others perspectives, work together and create a happy environment. We have to work together in order to experience a great experience.

Cons

Only thing is the health care. I do wish we could healthcare like we used too. The HSA is alright but if you are someone who has a lot.od medical things that are not covered you do use up your HSA very quickly, equalling not being able to build it up at all. And the half installments. I was waiting to pay a medical bill until the second half of the HSA contribution for some larger bills and ending up getting some late charges because I literally had nothing left in my HSA from my own contributions and the 1st half of the HSA installment.

Pros

Remote, flex time, usually bonus structure (but those numbers are sometimes manipulated so that no profit sharing is paid out), and that is about it.

Cons

Location is major con. Senior Management is not good and specifically to claims, does not know how to manage claims and does not know the basics, like the litigation process, reserving, etc. Fortunately they have good unit managers who make the decisions and Senior Management just follows. It is really quite shocking. PMIC is also behind other carriers in bringing new product to market. Others are usually a year or even 2 ahead of PMIC even thinking of adding on.
