Pros
Remote work prior to COVID-- since COVID, 100% remote work has been the standard. Decent corporate benefits. My managers are excellent and easy to communicate with. Leaders seem very profit/business health-oriented and acquired businesses to extend our reach.
Cons
The company is extremely siloed and there is little work outside of your own business unit. This makes it difficult to promote. Pay is average to low. HR says at orientation its goal is to have people at 85% of the market average after one year, which means they are paying lower on the lower end. In 2020, we did not see a raise and in 2021, the average raise for my business unit was 3%--less than inflation.
