Pros

Your schedule is flexible as long as it's within the constraints of time given by the employer.

Cons

This is a long review. But after being an employee for many years. I wanted to caution anyone that applies. I was a very Faithful & Hard Working employee for years before Covid (Mgmt always complimented me on my work ethic & dedication). I covered Multiple territories during COVID (when they had very few employees) *I never contracted COVID. Once the Pandemic was over. My mother became Deathly ill for several months but I continued to work between her Hospital & Dr. visits.- Yes I was exhausted, but I was committed to my job. Once COVID was over (while my mom was recovering). My manager decided that I wasn't dedicated enough and began to Strip me of my designated territory. ( I went from 30+ hrs to roughly 5 hrs) Even after saying Premium would work w/ me. I began contacting Upper mgmt & even Human Resources to help me regain my "dedicated" stores. To no avail NO ONE tried to help me in anyway. I even tried to apply for other jobs (after being there for many years) I was Constantly Rejected. They wouldn't even put me in the applicant pool. However I know for a fact people who were less qualified continued to prosper over me. *feel free to read in between the lines. I already understand corporate America & how it works. But nevertheless I was very upset with how I was Treated after so many years of Dedication. *they only have gave me a .15 yes, "fifteen cent" raise after COVID and I had to beg for that. *my manager "claimed" he had to Fight to get me that raise ??? Eventually it hurt me so bad I started questioning my own self worth (after having 20+ years of Merchandising experience). If you decide to work for this company. Please have absolutely no expectations. Because they "Claim" they are a company that cares. (ACOSTA) purchased them later. But PLEASE go into this job expecting no pay raises, no promotions (unless your personal friends w/ mgmt) & Do not trust them if they tell you they understand about any Health related situations.

Pros

I have an amazing supervisor

Cons

Jobs assigned to you are 100% your responsibility. Only part-time without benefits but I get assigned about 40 hrs a week. You get assigned an overwhelming amount of tasks that most often cannot be completed in time and you get penalized then. No raises ever. Constant driving, sometimes up to over a hour away, which you do not get reimbursed for the commute to your 1st store unless its over 60 miles away. Get reimbursed for only 1/3 per gallon if gas, which is much, much lower than the IRS issued rate. You don't automatically get paid for the time of driving between stores unless you explicity specify it in your time sheet; something they don't tell you either. I have an amazing supervisor, but my area is understaffed and the turnover rate is high. I cover 2 zones within my area. I frequently work 10-12 hr days, Monday to Saturday, for only $14 per hr. Workers who worked for Premium before the merge between Crossmark to Premium get paid much more, but the Reps who came from Crossmark did not get a raise to meet that level.
