Thanks for your candid and heartfelt feedback. It pains me that you felt underappreciated. You are right: it is unfair that Operational folks should bear the blowback for mistakes they did not create. Although we all have different roles to fill, an organizational chart does confer anyone with the right to treat other colleagues with anything other than respect.
As you know, 2020 was an uncommonly challenging environment for all small businesses, and we were no exception. We have taken a number of steps to address the issues you raise. Were you to read this, I would be most grateful if you reached out to me from your new position so I could express my regrets personally.
It is always my hope to have colleagues grow and develop in their roles and careers here, advancing professionally and financially as they take on new responsibilities. (As you know, there are folks who have been for years and even decades.) Understandably, that doesn't always happen, and people leave for their own reasons, including for new opportunities, further education, etc.
I do hope your time at PrepMatters helped you move forward on your own path. I certainly wish the end of your employment was as fulfilling as your early years. I remain grateful for your help as a colleague and wish you every success.
