Manufacturing - Engineering Manager Prescient Employee Review

I love the type of work I do at Prescient. My team is very supportive, and I also get to see what else is going on with other practices. Leadership is very transparent, which I have not seen in my previous jobs.

Benefits are ok, but could be better.

Good salary, great set of coworkers (other analysts)

Senior management had no idea what a backbone was and would not fight for the the team and stand up to upper management when confronted with obvious improvements on standards and procedures. Half the time was spent waiting for contracts to land, the other half was spent dealing with office politics (there was a real 'us and them' feel with the federal side and commercial side), and no sense of loyalty and transparency. The expectation was to work OT (without compensation) which was not an issue in doing so for the greater of the team, but if it meant a 'thanks for landing us this contract' and showing loyal workers the door, then I guess it wasn't worth it.
