Pros

- a job and free food

Cons

- no life other than for working for Pret - they say they care but they really don’t as workers forced to come to work even if they show symptoms as their jobs are on the line as apparently u can’t be sick for more 7 days a year in total or face being sacked !! Which is kinda stupid don’t remember people planning to be able to control the days and lengths of their sickness -micro management everyone has a manager who is always complaining even my manager who complains too much has her own manager who complains too much it’s a blame game and usually the lower you rank the more it’s your fault - the forever changing standards causes too much confusion the training you receive is ok but sometimes unclear and it’s impossible to follow standards if u want to hit deadlines - you will cry at least once - you will be treated like your duty is to be able to cover shifts with very little notice - managers will do everything to find something to tell you off about whether it’s how long ur clothes are or what words you use even when they are words that are not offensive

Pros

My experience working at Pret A Manger as a Team Leader was extremely stressful. During the hiring process, I was told I would have at least one weekend day off, but that promise was not kept. The workload was overwhelming. The company frequently operated while short-staffed, and there was constant pressure to work double shifts. The pay did not reflect the level of responsibility expected of a Team Leader. Another issue was the work culture. If you called out sick or needed time off, there was often pressure to come in, even on your scheduled days off. I also did not enjoy the location where I worked, and I did not feel that the company valued or respected its employees.

Cons

You get free food the only good part of working here.
