Pros

This is a good place to hold down a paycheck and benefits while pursuing freelance work or a side hustle. You can usually do your job in 2 or 3 hours a day, and your coworkers will still be impressed with your efforts. Primacy’s low expectations and generous work-form-home flexibility just make double-dipping easy. Lots of people here do it, though they're pretty discreet about it.

Cons

Primacy has impressive talent in its Account, Strategy, and Media departments. It’s the creative department that holds us back. Most creatives here have never worked for another ad agency. Few have even bothered to go experience life outside the Zip Code they were born in. They often defend luke warm ideas so they can stay within their comfort zone and go home at 5:00. A small handful of them, who have been there FOREVER, have found their only true talents in gossipping and backstabbing. Do not cast your lot with these small minds. Meanwhile, Primacy’s president/owner has been telling people to “be more iterative.” In other words, recycle ideas. You see, he’s crunched the numbers and discovered that originality is just too darn expensive. That’s what happens when you have someone running a company whose only real skill is writing code.

Pros

The agency does a great job balancing high-quality work with a supportive, collaborative culture. Leadership is accessible and transparent, and there’s a genuine emphasis on professional growth. You’re given real responsibility early on, which creates strong learning opportunities across strategy, creative, and execution. The client work is engaging and often complex, which keeps things interesting and pushes you to think critically. Teams are smart, motivated, and willing to help each other out, which makes a big difference day to day. There’s also a clear investment in improving processes, training, and evolving the business, rather than staying stagnant.

Cons

Like most agencies, timelines can be tight and priorities can shift quickly, which can create pressure during busy periods. However when the going gets tough, the tough get going :)

Pros

-work is enjoyable and exposure to top talents in the industries -people are great to work with.

Cons

-platform used for client work is confusing and hard to use -forecasting of upcoming hours isn't always clear -not as many hours for contract work as I would have hoped for
