Pros

Other retail assistants were nice and friendly.

Cons

Managers were rude. They did not speak to you like you was human. The managers did not even get to know your name although we all wore name tags. Managers has favourites and let them walk around doing no work for their shift, they also let certain individuals take extra long breaks. If you was not one of their favourites you definitely noticed. They would make you work in a section that required 5 people to do the job and they rushed you into completing the job within 40 mins. Everyday you would get moved around and work in a different section. They were rude always shouting at you in front of customers. The managers had no communication skills among each other. One manager would tell you something then the other manager would tell you something different and shout at you for doing what you was told. The pay was never the same. Every month you was underpaid despite working a solid 39 hours every month. There was mice in the warehouse and canteen which they did nothing about. warehouse was a mess a health and safety hazard as you had to climb boxes just to walk through to the other side, no pathways.

Pros

You get lots of PTO up front as a part timer and can gain flex hours overtime. Get a 50 cent raise every six months.

Cons

Was told during onboarding that if a Christian comes into the store spreading the gospel, I have to kick them out. This includes the mention of the Jesus without the church invite. Managers claim its rude and if a customer does it, they get booted. Faced harassment from a customer and management didn't let me switch too a different department. Extremely high turnover rate and managers don't replace them, making your job more stressful during peak hours. Hard to use PTO. Little to no training. Too many bachelor and master holding part timers who get lucked out of moving up in the company. Managers give some people no task while pilling on multiple tasks on one person. Too many managers to deal with (and usually never find) and the full timers make you do the dirty work while they "unpack boxes". Its a pro-LGBT anti christian company. If they want to be pro-LGBT, than more power to them. But anti-Christian is discriminatory and unnecessary.
